Pictures with Santa at DOW

The Jason's Deli Relay for Life Team, "The 'DELI'licous Lifesaverz" put together a Christmas fundraiser with the DOW deli. Pictures with Santa was a big hit with employees and customers!

Santa arrived in style with the help of the Beaumont Fire Department, and the kids and adults got to take pictures, play on the fire truck, and the deli provided cookies, hot chocolate and treat bags for the kids! Sammy Grant also gave 10% of his sales to the Relay for Life and all proceeds from the pictures went to help us reach our goal. It was a great day to go out to Dowlen Road and help in the Quest for a Cure!

The Beaumont Fire Department was happy to loan out their ladder truck for the afternoon...along with a few firefighters.

Santa pulled up in style - riding on the back of the fire truck...inside the ladder bucket!

Mrs. Clause was there waiting with some of the helpers and the kids were watching closely as Santa pulled up with the lights and sirens going!

Santa and Mrs. Clause -- our very own Raymond Buckingham (IT Dept) and his wife, June, make a wonderful team!

The helpers are: Top Right: Amy and Seth Srader - Bottom Left to Right: Amber Ellis, Bridgette Holdsambeck and Stephanie Hunt.

The kids were ready to take a picture and tell Santa what they want for Christmas.

Some of them had to have a serious talk about it...gotta make sure Santa knows what an I-Pod is.

Even Dad got in on the picture! And what a great thing to know that this baby's first picture with Santa was taken in the Deli!

Big Joe and Ms. Margaret had to have their picture taken with Santa...we have it on good authority that they have been very well behaved this year!

A text from the North Pole...or the helpdesk?

"Santa, you the man! I know you got my back!"

Santa and his little helper, Amber Ellis

Judy McFarland has been a good girl this year!

It was a fabulous day at DOW! Really Good Food, Santa, cookies and hot chocolate...no better way to spend the afternoon!

And at the end of it all...Santa and Mrs. Clause had to have something to eat...it's long way to the North Pole...and unfortunately, Jason's doesn't deliver there....yet!

A BIG, HUGE, THANK YOU! goes to the Relay for Life team for coming up with this great idea...Sammy Grant and his team at Dowlen Road were just awesome and we appreciate all of your assistance and excitement!
We were lucky enough to raise $1738.75! With a goal of $8000, we have just hit the $ 6375 mark! And there's lots of fundraising left to do before the final Relay on May 13th! The "DELI"licious Lifesaverz are serious about their race towards a cure for cancer.

Donations can be made online at: http://main.acs.events.org/ , and click on 'Deli'licous Life Saverz' in the "Top Teams" tab on the middle, right side of the page. Thank you!!!

This is our Facilities 2 building..."The Deli Cowboy". Joseph Edwards and Greg Messina are here in this office, taking care of the real estate side of things. Ever on the lookout for new places to put a deli, Joseph and Greg are the only two people in this little home away from home....along with a bunch of filing cabinets, banners, pictures, posters, and other stuff that at one time graced the walls of the deli.

"The Ranchero Wrap" -- This is our Facilities 1 building. Yep...that's right...the steps are crooked. The Delis are the first priority for these guys. They are out there in the deli with all of you quite a bit...you see them more than we do! Pat Broussard, Raymond Begnaud, Chris Monroe, Donald Newman, Joey Geis, Nick McLaughlin, and Tony Stuart call this home -- that is, when they are not at home in the deli!
This is the IT Building or "The Sergeant Pepper". Need some technical assistance? This team is great at what they do...they definitely keep us up and running here at Corporate and do more than just helpdesk tickets! Brett Yarbro, Stephanie Hunt, Randy Thompson, Patrick Wolff, David Bastian, Raymond Buckingham, Michael Leal, Keith Neville, Debbe Watson, Ashley Gallet, and Cathryn West are all at home in this building.

See the bottom left window? That little office is home to Sandra Grass. She takes care of the Learning Institute. Planning and scheduling Core Values, Marriage Matters, Emotional Intelligence, and all the other wonderful programs that Jason's Deli offers to its family members.
This is Red Brick 2, or “The Great Rueben”. Talk about a full house! This home really is packed! Our Accounts Receivables and Customer Service Angels all hang their halo’s in this house. Our "AR Angels" are: Carol Daniels, Mari Parham, Diana Greene, Helen Lazarus, Janet Nichols, Amber Ellis, Amy Srader, Ashley Barry, Cheryl Snapp, Diane Tweedie, Frances Shelton, Gretchen Foster, Jessica Tilley, Kim Villemez, Linda Simoneaux, Lindsey Parish, Mea Chaisson, Missy McKay, Sally Loden, Samantha Greene, Sierra Neville, and Tracey Wilkens.

The Tan Building, or the “Deli Club” is home to the department that makes sure we have the money to buy stuff: Payroll -- Renee Hodge, Lori Lewis, Misty Gonzalez, Donna Hall, CarolAnn Tampke, Alecia Gamble, and Brandy Crane. We really only see them about once a week in the mailroom when they're mailing payroll checks!

Kevin Carpenter and BJ Leger are also at home in the Deli Club. They watch over Payroll, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable from their offices.

The Accounting Department is in the Deli Club as well: Brian Hebert, Bridgette Holdsambeck, Jessica Fort, and Art LaGrange. We have our Tax Accountants there, too: Prisci Vaught and Jessica Wise.

Yep, there’s a bunch of family members in this office…it’s bigger than it looks.

Our next home is the Blue Building or "The Big Chef". Upstairs in this building, you will find the Accounts Payable Department: Charlene Grass, Kristina Roberds, Terisa LeBlanc, Tisha O'Quinn, and Lori Lista. These wonderful ladies work very hard to make sure all the bills are paid...people can hear the checks being printed and stamped for miles around!

Downstairs is the central hub for all the offices: the Mailroom. Judy McFarland has got to be the sweetest JD Post Master General ever! She takes care of all that paperwork that gets sent to Corporate each week and gets it where it needs to go along with making sure we all get our mail here.
Also downstairs are the ladies who do their best to take care of all of us. The Benefits and Risk Management Department: Willa White, Jennifer Blackwell, and Regina Jones. Safety is key in this office...but don't come around Halloween (they get a little crazy! --- pics to be posted soon).
This is the main building...we lovingly refer to it as Red Brick 1 or "The Great Panini". Upstairs In this home, you will find our Big Guy...Joe Tortorice, and his lovely Assistant, Dee Farnie. Just next to his office is none other than Rob Tortorice. They are surrounded by the Auditing Department: Keith Kemplay, Gus Deason, Tyler Mathews, and Chad Lemoine.
Downstairs, as you open the front door, you are greeted by Patricia Puckett and Sarah Webb...who do their best to assist everyone that calls our main line as well as everyone who works in all the offices. Our fearless CFO, Troy Cormier keeps an eye on everything from his office here, and our Marketing Department and all of their creative minds are hard at work as well: Chris Juckett, Mona Brittain, Nick Vikos, and Tara Shelander.
